The meaning of the name Zero Serenity:
Uniquely, the name was not made to be taken individualy. It was meant to be taken both individualy and as a whole. Defined:
Zero: Many people think of me as a nobody. A zero if you will. This is how this name stuck.
Serenity: My attitude towards something. I’m never stressed, never extremely happy or depressed, just calm, cool and collected all the time.
Zero Serenity: Representation of my mind. It always seems I’m thinking a mile a minute. While it’s not stress, it’s just speed and the fact that I can do so much with myself at any given time. Hence, my mind never seems to be at peace.

Zero the Anime Fan:
I don’t remember exactly when or where it started, but sometime around junior high I watched Voltron and Speed Racer for the first time. I didn’t really know it was anime, but it was giant robots and for some reason I really liked it. It went off the air sometime later and I kinda forgot about it. Then Gundam Wing came on and my addiction was solidified. I watched that show almost religiously and loved every minute of it. I also started watching the whole Toonami block on TV and got stuck on that too, in particular Sailor Moon was something I liked as well, DragonBall Z I felt was weak and I watched varrious animes from Pokemon to Cardcaptor Sakura. To date I own over one-hundred fifty complete anime series, plenty of others in need of completion, numerous Original Video Animations (OVAs, think very short series) and a series of movies. Currently I am a mecha and comedy lover, but I have an admiration for all…except Shonen-ai, that’s stuff’s nasty. I am not infatuated with Japan but my anime fandom knows no bounds and you can see what I have seen here.

Zero the Video Gamer:
From the light boxy Nintendo Entertainment System to the black monolith PlayStation 3 and monstrously huge Computer, I do it all. I love Role-playing games, Flight Simulators, Adventure games and a share of First-Person Shooters. I do play an MMORPG called Final Fantasy XI (no, I don’t do World of Warcraft). I have many favorites from Perfect Dark (finest FPS ever) to Final Fantasy VII and enjoy some obscure titles like Heatseeker. You may find me at any of the above places online.

Zero the Gamer:
Tabletop games. Dungeons and Dragons (My name’s origin) was my first and since then I have picked up and ran with card games. Magic: The Gathering I stay with and Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon are part of my past. I love the social experience of it all to have someone across the table from me enjoying themselves.

Zero the Programmer:
The first language ever learned was PHP riding over HTML. Now with the number of languages I have learned I have lent myself to a jack of all trades developer. Currently I use PHP and C# the most extensively with XNA framework riding on C#. I seek to know more about what I do but I love being methodical about things.

Zero the Gentleman:
I have imbued in myself the honor and chivalry of someone who respects all. I believe in relationships, friends and above all else, honor. To be faithful to those I put faith into. I will not betray if you will not betray me. I do not believe in weak bonds of friendship. One should not ever betray another’s trust and I believe people should be held accountable for said betrayals. To the woman I give my heart I will be all that she asks and her protector as she desires. All I ask is wherever you go let me go too. I also love wearing suits.

Zero the Atheist:
In an era of technology and scientific thinking I feel that most religions have no place in our world anymore. With the “god of the desert” toughly debunked and the atrocities committed in the name thereof, I feel it is time to be gone with this. My own faith was lost in junior high when I questioned my role in the world of a benevolent god. The uncomfortable fantasy had left me feeling more empty than I now am without it. I have left it behind and have grown into a person better off without religion holding me down and morals beyond that of any book.

Zero the Democrat:
I am a progressive in the same sense that I wish to see this country I live in evolve. I wish to have a progressive tax system that has the upper 1% pay the most percentage, socialized medicine and renewable energy. I do not support the military-industrial complex and war. I wish to see fewer subsidiaries for welfare and those unwilling to work. I wish for less money to be spent overseas in aid and more spent at home with our problems. However, I also respect civil liberties, the right to privacy and the right to bear arms fiercely. Otherwise I am all for change and advancement of the world as a society.
