Oh yeah bitch.
Lately I’ve been loving my crazy sub job choices. When I took Summoner back out for a spin because I got all but Titan (don’t really need him yet though), I decided on something. I wasn’t going to be a healer. I mean, Summoner was never intended by SE to be a healer right? Of course I’m right. If you look at the job without a sub, can they effectively heal? Fuck no. So, I didn’t. But people have this mindset that the only way to play Summoner is to have a White Mage sub and to use your MP to cure.
That is, untill I came along.

And let me start by saying this. Despite what many may think, this actualy works very well. Your MP pool is signifigantly larger (Almost 50 extra) and from this extra pool you can effectively solo quite well. With the right mob and the right strategy, you can lay waste to anything without relying on a party to do it for you. This didn’t really seem to hurt party invites that much, but when I was not in a party, people watching Fenrir lay waste to T-VTs I belive were geniunely impressed by that fact. So now the job is at 25 and I’ve yet to be a main healer in a party. Sweet.
In other news, my Paladin. I got one party to push it to 56. About 2K into the EXPing session, the leader decided to replace me because I wasn’t holding emnity. Well there’s obvious reasons why. First: My HP gague was commonly at full. I was trying my damnedest to cure myself, but all I saw was my HP 100%. I voke, I flash but I can’t cure myself. As such I kept loosing emnity control. Second was the Warrior that was wearing most of his AF which includes a bunch of Emnity up and since he outdamages me by a longshot (despite my offensive setup, +7STR Thank you very much) and I cannot cure myself, I have no control. It took a lot of calming down of the party and getting them to do excactly what I wanted for me to keep emnity. After continuing the grind they decide it’s time to disband. Last fight they all said in the matter of like 10 seconds. And I’m 1 into 57. I’m more than likely going to delevel. Which sucks, but at least I don’t change any gear from 56 to 57 so I won’t run around somewhat naked.
Bah. That’s about all for now. I’m off to finish my homework now.
