Yeah. I know why I’m not good at NM camping now. I can’t stand to wait for something to show.
Anyway, lemmie turn the clock back a tad.
Yesterday I did a party with a rather gimped idea. The party was 38-40 and I was 37. I figure, meh. I haven’t gotten a party in three hours. I better take this. My EXP gague still said a rousing 5,000 EXP/hr so I figure this wouldn’t be bad. A level and some later, I head back out, join a promie run and get 39. Great. We do another one where I am the White Mage. This time we got wasted. I can’t belive the nerve of some people to say I don’t know how to do my job. I’m 64, Rank 10 and the Black Mage is sore because he died when he chain nuked the HNM (and for some reason used Manafont when it was totaly unessisary). Fortunately for me, I know a bad situation when I see one. I ran out and waiting for their corpses to get kicked.
After that me and Eldoran (Good buddy from Norway, SMN) figured, let’s get a Fenrir run together, this time make it the Astral Burn Varriety. He’s a 60 SMN, I’m 64WHM, I got some friends, should be a frigging breeze. Party consisted of four SMNs (60, 71, 71 and 75) and myself. We didn’t win. Probably because the 75 was a real pro and the rest didn’t have any experience. I followed the instructions of the 75 to the letter. I was not to move off the zone and run if there was trouble. I ran away both times and we realized that it wasn’t going to work. So at 10PM tommorow, we’re trying for the Astral OVERKILL strategy of 5 SMN and me.
This morning I decided it’s finaly time to get my Pilgrim’s Wand. I had long enough, I should of got the thing way sooner. Four hours of aerocide (wait, hmm… I don’t quite think that works) he finaly pops. I was playing as my Paladin with a Ranger Sub so I could have Wide Scan. I ran up to him, smacked him with my Mercenary Captain’s Great Sword, Used Invincible and proceeded to beat the shit out of him. He was doing at least 20 a hit to me when it finaly wore off, so he might of taken me down had I not used it. Anyway, I killed him (and obviously got the drop, it’s 100%) and kinda celebrated. I went to the Saru outpost and Warped back to San d’Oria (Yes, we did take it over for a week) then logged to take a break for the day.
Fun.
I brought Black Mage from 32 to 36 today already. I’m taking a break from it now to get my Warp II scroll and probably get Stonega II somehow. At that point all my Black Magic spells should be set unless I decide to take it up again. For now it’s getting to 40 then being used and abused.
Did nothing over the weekend and Monday. This morning I brought Black Mage up a couple levels, but that’s about it. Meh. I don’t remember half the things I’ve been doing recently.
I feel old.
I’ve just felt really bad durring the day, so I meditated a lot to ease my pain instaid of playing XI at work. I got home and tried to play some, but all I did was get woodworking to level 50 (from 48) after dropping a quarter of a million into it. I’m giving my result to my smithing friend so she can make me my mauls. Oh well. I’m gonna go lie down now…

The force.
The battle went well. I had to use Benidiction and Chug four Yagudo Drinks, but I belive it was well worth the effort and money spent. I came back and took a screen of me reciving my flag (see above) and then imediately went to a gate guard to get myself my first Kingdom Signet Staff (see below). I feel it’s important to show off the pride for your nation. After this Sunday I should be able to purchase my Aketon to go along with it.

I’m on a roll baby.
I completed 8-2 with little difficulty and my teamspeak buddies seemed the enjoy the mass quanities of whacking going around. (The *whack* sound made when you hit certain enemies or use certain weapons.) Anyway, that was fun. After laying waste to dolls, we went to take care of 9-1 figuring why the hell not. Everyone just kinda took off and we had no organization of getting the three items, Asurman died at least twice and Chronos didn’t this time. He seems to of learned his lesson.
We got to the island where I took a few pictures of myself and Wildfire hanging out on the cliff. Then someone without my concent (mind you, I’ve been the alliance leader for all my missions since 7-1) just pops the cocks (/laugh) and we come out swinging with little choice and the fact that on the little island there is no place to run. They both dropped in a flash. Horde Lulluby just did not happen.
And later today is my final mission for San d’Oria so I can finaly get my Aketon and Signet Staff.

Finished 8-1 now, got the group ready and pumped for 8-2 tommorow because we must wait. Anyway, it wasn’t too bad, just was done in a fricking blink of an eye and done twice.
Oh, Chronos died from Hundred Fists again…
Yeah. I just randomly said, “Hey! I wanna get Rank 8 today!” /laugh
Took two hours. We ran to the orc on the ledge and romped him badly. It was good and only Chronos had to die. Party for 7-1 was PLD, THF, WARx2, BLM and WHMx2. We ran in, Chronos two houred and then the mob used Hundred Fists and he got wasted by it. We kept the tank alive and got him up to finish. Then since the PLD was Windurtian, we kicked him and started on 7-2. Ran in, Slept the lot and picked ‘em all off one by one. Easy. No one died this time.
We came back and reaped the 60K reward and decided, hey, Can we do 8-1 and 8-2 too? So later tonight we’re gonna try it. For now I’m helping my linkshell’s White Mages get Ninja.
My influence is spreading…
To be perfectly honest, I probably got nothing important done over the past two days on XI.
Seriously.
I brought Woodworking to 48 today and took my test which I later found out I could make a killer profit from as well. Rose wands can be made for about 120K for every 12 and turned around and sold for four times as much. Absolutely awesome.
I did a KS30 with the Fairy group that does them every week for a 20% cut (if you get anything good) but ended up with only about 100K worth of goodies and their low limit is 500K before they take a cut. I think I did this yesterday. *Shrug* I’m old. I don’t remember.
I got a person who seems much more interested in my mauls than everyone else I talked to. She’s got the opinion of “Get the materials and I will try. You can keep whatever I make though.”
850K is the cost to make 6 mauls. If she doesn’t HQ one I come close to breaking even. If she HQs one, I keep it and go with a slight loss. If she gets two I take a decent loss. If she gets three or more I’m making a profit and giving her about a mil for her troubles.
I wonder if she’s named after the Artic Warfare Magnum from Counterstrike because they improperly name it “AWP”.
Yesterday I managed to finish my trip to the den of evil (Valkurum Dunes for those who forgot) in about seven hours though all the n00bs and jerks.
By the way, the linkshell Mandkind Corparation is loaded with jerks and idiots. It’s no wonder they can never get Dynamis done anymore. 
I had a 75BRD from that group PLing, but he was being a real jerk about it, so eventualy I put /blockaid on. He got royaly pissed at me for it, but then I responded to him with the same answer: PLing is a bad excuse for not doing your job. Then he complains about me using a Great Sword instaid of a Sword and Shield combo. Now I can see where he is complaining, but to be perfectly honest I couldn’t give a damn. I play the game how I want to. Not how other people tell me to.
PLD20/WAR10 off to Qufim Island sometime today if I don’t get distracted into doing something else.
